Hi there,

I would honestly be surprised if anyone was reading this, I don’t have any goals or desire for this to reach a wide audience. After all, I am writing about fantasy football, more specifically dynasty fantasy football. Dynasty Fantasy Football is basically the nerdier version of fantasy football, where your roster carries over every year and as managers, we twiddle our thumbs as we pretend to be NFL GMs building teams that can compete year-in and year-out. We all do this while pretending to know more about football than any of us (or at least, most of us) actually do, and curse out coaches like Arthur Smith for not giving Bijan more touches, screaming at our TVs on Sundays as Allgeier takes another goal line carry.

It’s a silly game when you really think about it, but I fucking love it. The strategy, the roster building, the trading, the tinkering of each team only for everything to blow up in the playoffs because Joe Flacco was the QB2 overall while Burrow and Herbert are sitting on your IR. And then January rolls around and you’re jumping up and down because while the redraft season is ending, you get to repeat the process all over again. I started my first dynasty league in the Fall of 2020, wherein the world was shut down and the NFL couldn’t afford to miss out on an entire season because of a pandemic. Since then, as of this writing, I have joined and currently manage 65 dynasty teams. I am the ultimate nerd, but I can’t get enough of Dynasty.

In this blog, I plan to use it as a place for me to share my thoughts and stories about Dynasty Fantasy Football. Whether it be my philosophy on the best way to play Dynasty, different ways I like to approach startups, or breaking down how I managed to rebuild some of my teams, this blog will ultimately serve as a place for me to dump my thoughts and write out these things for my own sake, so that I can go back and read what I’ve written and laugh at how much of a nerd and dumbass I am for thinking things the way I do. I’m super grateful for anyone who’s read even this far, I hope you enjoy my blog and cheers to anyone who wants to live the dynasty life vicariously through me.
